Question: Immigration Procedures for Vietnamese People in Foreign Countries

Thursday, Nov 06, 2014 - 3:57 PM I am Vietnamese but reside in abroad, I have been granted visa-free, but I heard that each entry is only allowed 90 days in Vietnam. I want to ask if when my 90 days end, I have to exit out of Vietnam and then back to the new entry or continue residing without having to exit out of Vietnam. "

Asked by Keith Valentina

Answer:
Dear Keith Valentina! According to current regulation, when entering Vietnam with visa-free card, you will be allowed in Vietnam 90 days and when it ends, if you want to stay longer in Vietnam, you have to apply to extend the visa-free card; each extension is in validity of 90 days.
